Danjo Denim Jacket and Taicho Denim Jacket Renewal Completed

We've kept you waiting for a long time, but the renewal of the "Danjo Denim Jacket" and "Taichou Denim Jacket" is finally complete. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has waited.

■ About renewed products

In this renewal, we have made the following improvements in pursuit of comfort and a silhouette that will satisfy as many people as possible.

Main points of the renewal:

  • Pattern making renewal : Using Kiiya's body, we have remade the pattern to fit a standard body type. Utilizing 3D CAD, we have achieved both comfort and design.
  • Main changes

    • Chest pocket : The thickness of the fabric has been reduced for a cleaner look.
    • Hemline : Changed to a gentle curve for a natural drape.
    • Sleeve cap : Designed higher to create a beautiful line when the arms are lowered. However, this makes sewing a little more difficult.
    • Cuffs : By adding tucks, the wrist circumference is shortened by approximately 3 cm, improving the fit.
    • Neck : The collar stand is a separate part, reducing pressure on the neck and improving posture.

About size (*Laid flat after washing and drying, unit cm)

size shoulder width Chest width Length Sleeve Length
    S (old) 43 51 66 57
    M (old) 46 53 67 59
    L (old) 48 56 71 60.5
size shoulder width Chest width Length Sleeve Length
    S (new) 43.5 47 58 56.5
    M (new) 45 49 60 59
    L (new) 46.5 50 61 60.5

The numbers show a big change in the width and length. The length is measured from the back, and due to the gentler curve of the hem, the length at the back is shorter. The length of the front hasn't changed much before and after the renewal. The width has also been shortened. We believe the overall fit has improved, but as every customer's body shape is different, it is best to try it on for yourself to confirm.

The renewed Danjo denim jacket now offers a more refined fit and silhouette.
